Field Management
This feature requires the Field Manager addon to be enabled.
Field Management provides tools for monitoring your field team in real time, managing clients, tracking visits, handling SOS requests, and analyzing field operations through detailed reports. The Field Manager addon powers two menu sections: Monitoring and Field Manager.
Monitoring
The Monitoring section gives managers real-time visibility into their field team's location, activity, and status.
Live Location
Navigate to Monitoring > Live Location to view your field team on a map.
The Live Location view displays a map with pins for each field employee, showing:
- Employee name, code, and designation
- Current latitude and longitude
- Online or offline status (based on recent tracking data)
Use this view to get an instant snapshot of where your team members are at any given moment.
Timeline
Navigate to Monitoring > Time Line to review an employee's movement history for a specific date.
The Timeline view lets you select an employee and a date to see their tracked movement sessions:
- Sessions: Each session represents the period between a check-in and check-out
- Location Points: GPS coordinates collected during the session, displayed on a map path
- Total Distance: The total distance covered during the session
- Average Speed: The average speed across all tracked points
- Activities: A chronological list of activities during the session, including:

| Visit | Employee visited a client location |
| Travelling | Employee was in transit between locations |
| Still | Employee was stationary at a location |
| Checked Out | Employee ended their work session |
Each activity entry includes the elapsed time, battery level, and GPS status at that point.
Card View
Navigate to Monitoring > Card View to see a card-based overview of your field team.
The Card View displays employee cards grouped by team, with each card showing:
- Employee name and current address
- Battery percentage, GPS status, and WiFi status
- Online or offline indicator
- Check-in and check-out times (from today's attendance)
- Number of visits completed today
- Number of orders placed today (requires Product Order addon)
- Number of forms filled today (requires Form Builder addon)
At the top of the page, summary statistics show the total number of checked-in employees, online employees, and offline employees.
Clients
Navigate to Field Manager > Clients to manage your client database.
Viewing Clients
The client list displays all clients in a searchable data table. You can search across client name, email, phone, address, city, state, postal code, category, and contact person name.
Creating a Client
- Click the create action
- Fill in the client details:
- Name: Client or company name
- Email: Contact email address
- Phone: Contact phone number
- Address, City, State, Postal Code: Physical address details
- Category: Client classification
- Contact Person Name: Primary contact at the client
- Latitude and Longitude: GPS coordinates of the client location
- Radius: Geofence radius around the client location (used for visit verification)
- Remarks: Additional notes
- Status: Active or inactive
- Image: Client logo or photo
- Assigned Employee: The field employee responsible for this client
- Save the client record
Editing and Deleting Clients
- Click Edit on any client row to update their details
- Click Delete to remove a client record
Client Statistics
The clients page displays summary statistics including total clients, active clients, inactive clients, clients with visits, and a breakdown of clients by category.
Client Map View
Navigate to Field Manager > Client Map View to see all clients plotted on a map.
The map displays markers for each client location. Use the available filters to narrow the view:
- Status: Filter by active or inactive clients
- Category: Filter by client category
- City: Filter by city
- State: Filter by state
This view is useful for visualizing client distribution and planning field routes.
Visits
Navigate to Field Manager > Visits to view and manage field visit records.
Viewing Visits
The visits list displays all visit records with filtering options:
- Status: Pending, In Progress, Completed, or Cancelled
- Visit Type: Filter by the type of visit
- Follow-up Required: Filter visits that need follow-up
- Employee: Filter by the assigned employee
- Client: Filter by client
- Date or Date Range: Filter by specific date or range
Visit Details
Click on a visit to see its full details:
- Client: The client visited
- Check-in: Time, GPS coordinates, address, and check-in method
- Check-out: Time, GPS coordinates, address, and check-out method
- Duration: Total visit duration in minutes
- Distance from Client: How far the check-in was from the client's registered location (in km)
- Purpose: The reason for the visit
- Outcome: Result of the visit
- Remarks: Additional notes from the field employee
- Follow-up: Whether follow-up is required, with follow-up date and notes
- Related Visits: Link to parent visit (if this is a follow-up) and any follow-up visits created from this visit
- Images and Attachments: Photos and documents attached during the visit
Visit Statistics
The page shows summary cards with total visits, today's visits, and counts by status (completed, pending, in progress, cancelled), along with visits requiring follow-up and a breakdown by visit type.
SOS Requests
Navigate to Field Manager > SOS Requests to monitor emergency requests from field employees.
The SOS view displays a map with all SOS request locations and summary statistics showing total, pending, and resolved request counts.
Each SOS request includes:
- Employee name and contact details
- GPS coordinates and address where the SOS was triggered
- Notes describing the situation
- Image (if attached by the employee)
- Status: Pending or Resolved
To resolve an SOS request, click Resolve. The system records who resolved it and when.
Registered Devices
Navigate to Field Manager > Registered Devices to manage field employee devices.
The device list shows all registered mobile devices with:
- Assigned employee
- Device type (Android, iOS, or Web)
- Brand and model
- App version and SDK version
- GPS coordinates (last known location)
- Registration date
You can filter by employee and delete device registrations when needed. Device verification can be enabled or disabled from the Field Manager settings.
Reports
Navigate to Field Manager > Reports to access field operations analytics. The following reports are available:
Visits Summary Report
Navigate to Reports > Visits Summary Report.
Provides an overview of all field visits with statistics including total visits, completed visits, in-progress visits, pending visits, cancelled visits, total visit duration, and total distance covered. Includes breakdowns by visit type and status.
Client Activity Report
Navigate to Reports > Client Activity Report.
Analyzes client engagement with statistics including total clients, active clients, inactive clients, clients with visits, and average visits per client. Shows a breakdown by client category and highlights top clients by visit count.
Employee Performance Report
Navigate to Reports > Employee Performance Report.
Evaluates field employee productivity with statistics including total employees, total visits, average visits per employee, top performer, and completion rates for each employee.
Distance Tracking Report
Navigate to Reports > Distance Tracking Report.
Tracks how far field employees check in from their assigned client locations. Shows average, minimum, and maximum distances, the number of check-ins within the client's defined radius, and a distribution across distance ranges (0-0.5 km, 0.5-1 km, 1-2 km, 2+ km).
SOS Summary Report
Navigate to Reports > SOS Summary Report.
Summarizes all SOS requests with total, pending, and resolved counts, average response time, and a breakdown by status.
Client Engagement Report
Navigate to Reports > Client Engagement Report.
Provides deeper analysis of client relationships with statistics including total clients, active clients, at-risk clients, overdue follow-ups, average days between visits, and visit success rate. Includes a monthly engagement trend and engagement level classifications (High, Medium, Low, At Risk).
Field Team Dashboard
Navigate to Reports > Field Team Dashboard.
A real-time operational dashboard showing active field employees, today's visit count, total distance covered today, and total visit duration today. Includes device health alerts (low battery, GPS disabled, mock location detected), hourly activity distribution, and a live location map.
Location Compliance Report
Navigate to Reports > Location Compliance Report.
Monitors location accuracy and integrity with compliant check-in count, violation count, compliance rate, average distance from client, mock location incident count, and outside-hours activity count. Shows distance distribution and hourly compliance patterns.
Settings
Navigate to Field Manager > Settings to configure the Field Manager addon.
Available settings include:
- Device Verification: Enable or disable mandatory device verification for field employees
